The Surprise Anticipation Center will be where
major drivers of the future are tracked and analyzed by area experts
to anticipate future crises and surprises. Key potential surprises
are identified and developed so that they can be tracked by DIANE
and analysts, with this technology allowing the expertsto assess
the significance of ongoing incidents in relation to the wider
system in real time, and consider different futures accordingly.
